Ah those analog/digital times, meaning recording digital video in SD quality on a analog tape. This was my first camera, and this video was – again – very spontaneous. At 2 o’clock in the morning a friend of mine Daniel came in, totaly high on LSD, and asked me if we could do something – he was bored alone home. Well that was fairly understandable. On that day I discovered a new band, Balkand Beat Box, and was really blown away with their sound and their energy they put in songs. Hence I suggested, let’s make a video to this song. Daniel firstly was not really excited with the idea, but he played along. So I installed one spot light on the right side to get that dramatic atmosphere, we recorded about 15 minutes, and then I edited video till 6 in the morning. Done. Now even after so many years and after having done a bunch of videos after that this one is one of my favourites. We had our fun, that’s for sure.
