During my “rich” career I worked for two years in Frankfurt Hostel as a general manager. Besides usual tasks like coordinating the staff, managing orders, pushing SEO to new heights (jeap, I got that first place on google page), I also was responsible for design and media, especially for public relations. So, my chef came to me and asked me if I could make a nice video about Frankfurt Hostel which transports that unique atmosphere there: relaxed, discrete, individual, open minded, worldly, but also dynamic, funny, young, fresh – you name it.
To make it authentic as it gets I collected all recordings from last couple of years, some of them were smartphone videos with not a great quality, but that didn’t matter. The video should represent that exceptional life style of Frankfurt Hostel, which was everything but not shiny and artificial. After collecting all material I could get into my hands I shot couple of additional interview, sat down for couple of days, made very own music, and voila: Welcome to Frankfurt Hostel, a place where travellers are not strangers but members of a bit waste community called open-minded people.
